The Search Process
The search process
starts by developing a job description with the
client and by understanding the company’s
culture and goals. We like, where possible,
to visit the client’s offices and see the
company in its daily life. The surroundings and
culture of an organization are a key factor in
what type of individual will be ultimately successful.
The hardest part
of any search is the first three to four weeks.
This is when candidates are surfaced – either
through our confidential database, or
by research and outreach. Almost always, the best
candidate doesn’t emerge instantly.
This is because
he or she may belong to the group of passive job
seekers that are enjoying their current positions.
These are not people that have their resume posted
on popular job search engines and most likely
are not checking them for job postings either.
It’s our job to find those people,
engage them in a conversation on the client’s
behalf, determine their suitability, and present
a select group of potential candidates for the
client to meet.
