Nancy Amiel

Nancy Amiel is
an experienced professional with expertise in
public relations, corporate issues and crisis
management, internal and external communications,
marketing, and event and project management. She
applies a high degree of creativity and innovation
to achieve her clients’ strategic goals,
while remaining well-grounded in the business
needs that underlie any decision.
Now an advisor to corporate and
nonprofit clients, she spent five years as a senior
vice president and member of the Operating Committee
of The Bond Market Association. For 15 years she
managed the corporate public relations and internal
communications departments for the Equitable Life
Assurance Society, now known as AXA Financial,
and served as its principal communications strategist
and media spokesperson. Before moving to Equitable,
she was a vice president at Howard J. Rubenstein
Associates, one of the nation’s top public
relations firms. She started her professional
career at the Urban Development Corporation, now
the Empire State Development Corp.
Ms. Amiel received her B.A. degree,
summa cum laude, from Fordham University. She
is active in a number of professional and trade
organizations and has been a speaker at several
forums. She is a member of the Public Relations
Society of American, Women in Communications,
American Society of Association Executives and
PRS: NY.
Martin
Arnold

Martin Arnold has
40-years experience in PR and media in the minerals,
energy and timber industries. After retiring from
ITT in 2000, he started his own PR practice with
clients in both profit and non-profit. He teaches
Organizational Communication, PR, Writing, Speech
and Media Studies at UConn. He holds an MA in
Communications from Fairfield and an MBA from
the University of New Haven. He received his undergraduate
degree from the University of Washington where
he majored in PR and Advertising.
